Creek's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

31-year old Australian swingman Mitch Creek (196-F/G-1992) put on an extraordinary performance in the last week for Atleticos de San German and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 28.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds, while his team edged out Caguas (#3, 16-12) 93-90. Atleticos maintains the 6th position in their group in the Puerto Rican league. San German is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-18 record. In the team's last game Creek had a remarkable 53.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Atleticos and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader.

Second best performed player last week was Travis Trice II (183-PG-1993) of Criollos de Caguas. He is American guard in his first season at Caguas. In the last game Trice II recorded an impressive 39 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Criollos lost that game 96-105 to slightly higher-ranked Guaynabo (#1, 18-10). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Caguas still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 16-12 record is not bad at all. Trice II is one of the most experienced players at Caguas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.9ppg (#1). He also recorded 7.6 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Sheldon Mac (196-G-1992, agency: Slash Sports) of league's second-best Super Santeros de Aguada. Mac got into 30-points club by scoring 37 points in the last week. He went also for six rebounds . Despite Mac's great performance the Aguada lost 107-117 to #4 ranked Quebradillas. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of Aguada ranking at the top of Group A, however are very questionable as they have already lost 17 games, recording just fifteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Mac could help Aguada to bring them higher in the standings. Mac has a very solid season. In 11 games in Puerto Rico he scored 22.8ppg. He also has 5.0rpg, a FGP of 55.7% and 3PT: 43.1%.
